While a Prosthodontist is a dentist, not all dentists are Prosthodontists. A Prosthodontist specialises in the design, fabrication, and placement of restorations to repair or replace missing or damaged teeth. A dentist must complete a minimum of three additional years of advanced dental science training after dental school to become a Prosthodontist in Perth WA.
